Kings Of Convenience 來自挪威的二重唱新秀，由于干净的歌喉与清新的音阅风格，受到挪威的知名的名搖唱片公司Source赏识签约，并被称赞为新世代的Simon & Garfunkal。

合声Erlend Oye和主唱Eirik Glambek Boe所組成的Kings Of Convenience，一出道即受各界矚目，被喻為2001年"The new new wave"新新浪漫風潮中最佳代表樂團，並常被媒体乐评们将他们与"Belle & Sebastian"、"Badly Drawn Boy"、"Elliot Smith"、"Nick Drake"等乐团相提并论。NEM音阅周报也曾推崇他们为Hero Of New Acoustic Movement"，甚至将"Kings Of Convenience"与近期的一些新团体"Lowgold"、"Elbow"、"Alfie"、"Turin Brakes等，评选为本世纪下一波"Coldplay Wave"中的接班团体。

   其实上，Kings Of Convenience，仅用两把简单的传统吉他，一把标准钢琴弦吉他和一把传统尼龙弦吉他，揉合他們两个干净完美的二部合声，毫无娇饰的情感与多于的音乐陪衬，呈現一种极为和谐的脫俗清新感。甜甜淡淡地唱出對於人生每個部分与階段的豁达哲理，在一股氾濫電音與悲憤情愛的市場中，"Kings Of Convenience"的確不怎起眼，卻值得期待与重視。
